Regal Petroleum denies approach by Shell

Regal Petroleum (RPT LN: N/R), the exploration and production company active in Ukraine, said on Friday that it has not been approached by Royal Dutch Shell, Europe’s largest energy group, regarding its Ukrainian assets. This news follows earlier Financial Times stories, which cited undisclosed sources, that Shell submitted a bid for the company that valued it at USD 1.2 bln.
