3 October 2008

The Kyiv municipal administration intends to place USD 250 mln Eurobonds with 10-year tenor in October through Citibank and Credit Suisse First Boston. Kyiv plans to launch a road show of the Eurobonds soon after the placement of Ukrainian Eurobonds (the Finance Ministry will hold road show of government Eurobonds on 3-5 October). The Kyiv municipal administration expects to enter the market after establishing a price guide, using the government Eurobonds (expected to be placed at a 5-6% rate). Kyiv made a Eurobond issue last year placing USD 200 mln for seven years at 8.625%.
