Tymoshenko orders disclosure of owners of Ukrainian oil & gas wells and deposits

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko announced yesterday she will order Naftogaz of Ukraine, the Ministry of Fuel and Energy and the Ministry of Environmental Protection to make public all the “owners of oil & gas wells and deposits in Ukraine”. Vladimir Nesterenko: This move to force higher transparency in the sector should help foster foreign investment, including strategic acquisitions.
