Astarta Increases Total Land Under Lease to 107.8 ths ha via Aquistition.

Astarta (AST PW: N/R), a Warsaw-traded Ukrainian sugar producer, announced yesterday that it had acquired 100% stake in Ukraine-Poryk, an agricultural company that leases 3.1 ths ha of arable land, based in Vinnitsya region. The takeover increases Astarta’s total land under lease to 107.8 ths ha. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
