Stirol to Build Biodiesel Plant by 2008

Ukraine’s largest producer of nitrogen fertilizer, Stirol (STIR: BUY) will construct facilities to boost its biodiesel production capacity by 2008, said Honorary Chairman of Stirol Nikolai Yankovsky in an interview with the newspaper Delo. According to him, the plant will increase the company’s biodiesel production capacity by 35-40 ths mt, a more than tenfold. Yankovsky said the company intends to export biodiesel produced at the new plant.
