Yanukovich Proposes Coal Machinery Repair Fund.

Viktor Yanukovich, prime minister, said the Cabinet would create a special fund for financing major repairs of mining equipment. He said domestic machine-building plants would participate in the repairs. Eugene Cherviachenko: This is good news for all domestic coal machinery producers, especially those owned by SCM, including Dongirmash (DGRM: BUY) and Druzhkivka Machine Building (DRMZ: BUY). However, some mining equipment (heading machines) can not be repaired easily and should be replaced. Thus we expect additional domestic demand in the mid-term for these machines, produced by Yasynivsky Machine Building (YAMZ: BUY).
