MHP announces its 1H08 production results

Myronivskiy Hliboproduct (MHPC LI: N/R) announced today its pre-close trading update for 1H08: the company’s sales of chicken meat increased by 50% yoy to 110 ths mt; average chicken meat prices for 1H08 picked up by 58% to 11.75 UAH (USD 2.4)/kg (excluding VAT). The company’s cultivated land cropped with wheat increased by 60% to 32.5 ths ha (wheat yield of 6.3 mt/ha) and land cropped with rape seed rose by 130% to 14 ths ha. MHP said that its 1H08 financial results will be published on September 17.
