Ukrtelecom To Lose Its G3 License?

14 August 2008

According sources in the National Communications Regulation Commission (NCRC), Ukrtelecom (UTEL: BUY) may lose its G3 mobile license if it fails to report on the construction of its mobile network by December 1, 2006. Alexander Paraschiy: The fact that certain forces seem bent on sabotaging UTEL’s new license suggest they are worried about the company’s potential as a mobile provider. The report the NCRC is calling for looks like nothing more than some bureaucratic red tape and is unlikely to give the Commission cause to withdraw UTEL’s license.
