Prykarpatoblenergo & Hmelnitskoblenergo Announce 1H05 Results

Prykarpatoblenergo (PREN: HOLD) posted a net income of USD 0.37 mln in 1H05, compared to 8.4 mln in 1H04, and USD 41 mln net revenue (+6.4% yoy). Hmelnitskoblenergo (HMON: HOLD) showed a net income of USD 0.90 mln for 1H05, compared to 0.10 mln in 1H04, and USD 28.4 mln net revenue (+7.5%). Concorde Capital: Both companies are among the best performing regional energy distributors (obloenergos) in Ukraine. Their low level of electricity losses allow the companies to show a positive net income.
