Oranta’s GPW rises 65.7% yoy

Oranta Insurance (SORN: N/R) announced yesterday its 7M08 financial results: the company’s gross premiums written (GPW) rose by 65.7% yoy to USD 115.8 mln; claims paid grew by 34% yoy to USD 39.4 mln. In July Oranta shareholders approved the results of the charter fund increase by 54.6% to USD 36.1 mln via an additional share issue.
