Bohdan Corporation Plans To Increase Production Again in 2008

The Bohdan Corporation, which includes the Bohdan Automobile Plant (LUAZ: N/R) and Cherkasy Bus, announced plans to increase bus and passenger car production in 2008 by 27.3% yoy and 42.9% yoy, respectively (based on the management’s 2007 targets of 55 ths vehicles and 3.5 ths buses). By the end of this year, Bohdan intends to place a USD 100 mln Eurobond and use the financing to complete the construction of wharehouse in Cherkasy and to upgrade production facilities at its plant in Lutsk.
