Bank Of Georgia Completes Ukrainian Bank Purchase

On Friday, the National Bank announced that it had agreed to allow Bank of Georgia (BGEO LI) to purchase 100% of Ukraine’s 56th largest bank, the Universal Bank of Development & Partnership (UBDP). Bank of Georgia is Georgia’s largest bank in asset terms. Last Month Bank of Georgia purchased Cascade Bank, one of Georgia’s smallest banks to expand its wealth management services.
