Government Wants Majority Stake in Planned Kryvy Rig Iron Ore JV.

The acting government announced yesterday that it had decided to keep a minimum stake of 50% plus one share in the joint venture that it plans to create to revive the unfinished Kryvy Rig Iron Ore plant (KGOKOR). A government decree ordered the industry ministry to take an inventory and the State Property Fund to conduct a valuation. The decree said nothing about how the JV partner was to be chosen.
