Megabank To Receive USD 20 mln Loan From The EBRD.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) announced yesterday that it had agreed to provide Megabank (MEGA: BUY) with a five- year USD 20 mln loan. Megabank plans to use the loan to increase it expanding consumer loan portfolio. Alexander Viktorov: This news comes on the back of the bank’s announcement that it had singed a five-year agreement with Ukreximbank to jointly finance the development of Ukrainian exports through a USD 20 mln World Bank project. These two loans, account for half of the bank’s USD 80 mln foreign borrowing program for 2007.
