Krymskyi Tytan, Ukraine’s largest producer of titanium dioxide, plans to begin production of diammonium phosphate in September 2005. The company plans to make 2,000 tons of this product in September and 3,000 tons every following month. Ammophos production facilities will be used for this purpose. Diammonium phosphate is used for basic application, placement in the row, and feeding of agricultural crops during vegetation on all types of open and protected soil, and in fertilizer blending. Concorde Capital: Currently, the only producer of diammonium phosphate in Ukraine is OJSC Rivneazot, which is one of the six major mineral fertilizer producers in the country. The company is controlled by Raiffeisen Investment AG. Its reported revenues for 2004 totaled ~USD 98 mln or a 64.7% increase yoy, net profit turned from negative for the first time over last three years and reached USD 5.5 mln.
