Eurocar 1H Production Up 2.8 Times.

Privately owned Eurocar increased its output in 1H06 to 8851 cars, up 2.8 times yoy, most of which were Skoda models (up 3.3 times yoy to 8152 cars). Output of Volkswagen models grew by 8% to 699 units. The company plans to increase production by 92% yoy in 2006. Eurocar recently launched a new production line with a capacity of 45 ths cars per year. Eurocar said it aims to increase its market share from 4.3% in 2004 to 5% in 2006.
