According to a poll by the Razumkov Center, close to Yushchenko’s defense minister, 68% of people living in Blue regions say they would support the Regions party if new elections were called, while only 49% of people living in Orange regions say they would support a united Our Ukraine-Tymoshenko bloc. When asked who was most to blame for the political crisis, 34% of people in Orange regions and 48% of people in Blue regions picked Yushchenko; no other politician received even half as much blame from either side. According to the poll, Tymoshenko is now more than twice as popular as Yushchenko. Tom Warner: We expect more polls to be coming out confirming this general picture: that even if new elections were held, Yanukovich and his allies would likely return stronger. Tymoshenko might do better without Our Ukraine, but she would be unlikely to win a majority.
