Warsaw Stock Exchange To Open Office In Kyiv

The Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) announced plans yesterday to open a representive office in Kyiv. WSE officials also said that they expected two Ukrainian companies, XXI Century Investments (XXIC:LN) and the paint-maker Kreativ, to place shares in Warsaw by the end of the year. The WSE sees up to 10 companies making IPOs in Warsaw by the end of 2008. Astarta (AST:PW) was the first Ukrainian company to hold an IPO on the WSE.
