Unknown Ukrainian Company Purchases Nigerian Steel Plant?

Today, Interfax reported, citing sources within the Nigerian Embassy, that a Ukrainian company has acquired a controlling stake in a steel plant in Jos, Nigeria. The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry named the Industrial Union of Donbas as the bidder, but IUD Vice President Aleksandr Pilipenko has refuted the rumors. Representatives of Interpipe and Arcelor Mittal Kryviy Rih also denied they were behind the deal.
