Central European Media increases its stake in TV station 1+1 from 60% to 90%

Central European Media (CETV US: N/R) announced yesterday it bought out minority partners in 1+1, the second largest Ukrainian TV channel, increasing its stake from 60% to 90%. CME acquired the additional stake from Alexander Rodnyansky and Boris Fuchsmann for USD 79.6 mln. CME has entered into agreements with Igor Kolomoyskiy for USD 140 mln for his option rights to 1+1.
