Ukraine & EU Discuss Action Plan

Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Oleh Rybachuk and the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana discussed the implementation of the Ukraine-EU Action Plan at the 9th meeting of the Ukraine-EU Cooperation Council in Luxemburg. Concorde Capital: The EU plans to begin negotiations to liberalize visa policies for Ukrainians this September. Ukraine has also applied for free market economy status with the EU, but will need to address several regulatory and policy issues before it will meet EU requirements.
