Ms. Tymoshenko Goes To France

Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko will begin this week with a three-day working visit to France. Tymoshenko will meet with French President Jacques Chirac and PM Dominique de Villepin, and speak to the French Parliament. In addition she will meet with the following French companies:
- EADS (aerospace),
- Gaz de France,
- Arcelor (global steel company),
- Saint Gobain (plastics),
- MEDEF International (high-profile NGO promoting international French business),
- Areva (nuclear power generation), and Sagem (aeronautics, communications, and telecom).
President Viktor Yushchenko will pay an official visit to France on June 22. Concorde Capital: This is an opportunity for the new Ukrainian government to establish good relations with a major European country. French businesses seem to be excited at the new opportunities in Ukraine, particularly the prospect of a new privatization tender forKryvorizhstal.
