Ferrexpo Added to FTSE 100 Index

Ferrexpo Added to FTSE 100 Index

12 June 2008

Ferrexpo (FXPO LN: HOLD) will be added to the FTSE 100 Index as of the start of trading on June 23, following an affirmative decision by the FTSE UK Index Series Committee on June 10. The FTSE 100 Index includes the hundred largest companies on the London Stock Exchange. In September 2007, Ferrexpo was included in the FTSE 250 index. Oleksandr Klymchuk: Ferrexpo will become the first Ukrainian company to join a major global benchmark index. Since its IPO on the LSE just a year ago, Ferrexpo’s Mcap has appreciated by more than 220% to USD 5.3 bln. Joining the FTSE 100 could support a further rise due to demand from funds that replicate the index basket.
