Gazprom to finish negotiations with Turkmenistan by July

The deputy chairman of Gazprom said yesterday the company is ready to agree on 2009 gas supplies from Turkmenistan at European market prices before July 2008. Last week Russian Foreign Minister Serhey Lavrov said that the gas price for Ukraine will almost double as a result of Russia switching to market pricing for Central Asian gas starting January 1, 2009”.
