Bohdan Keeps Up 2007 Production Increases

The Bohdan Corporation, holding company for the Lutsk Automobile Plant (LUAZ) and Cherkasy Bus (CHBS), lifted car production 6.5% yoy in 5M07 to 21,496 units (after increasing output 32.3% yoy in 4M07). In 2007 Bohdan plans to produce 50,500 cars (+25% yoy). This year the company’s plants will start producing new Hyundai models (Accent, Sonata and Santa Fe) as well as Kias (Opirus, Cee’d and Carens).
