Universalna Insurance Directs 2006 Profits Into Development

At their AGM on May 25, shareholders of Universalna Insurance (SKUN) voted not to pay a dividend from its 2006 net income of USD 190 ths. Instead, the company will direct 95% of that amount into development and 5% to its reserve fund. Universalna Insurance is Ukraine’s only listed insurer and is a part of the Universalna Group, which also includes Galnaftogaz (GLNG: U/R) and Khlibprom (HLPR).
