Astarta receives USD 15 mln credit line from ABN AMRO

ABN AMRO extended a three-month USD 15 mln credit line to Astarta (AST PW: U/R), the latter announced yesterday. Proceeds will be spent on acquisitions and to increase working capital. Anna Dudchenko: This deal is in line with Astarta’s targets of spending USD 25 mln by 2010 to upgrade production facilities, and to use USD 35 mln to expand land under lease. With these investments, the company seeks to raise capacities 64% through acquisitions and expanding existing facilities, and increase its market share from 8% in 2008 to 15% in 2011.
