Russia's Military Insurance Company Looking To Enter Ukraine

The CIS’s fifth largest insurer (USD 459 mln in premiums in 2006), Russia’s Military Insurance Company (MIC) announced yesterday that it was planning to enter Ukraine and Kazakhstan. According to the company’s chairman, the company was looking at the possible purchase of one of Ukraine or Kazakhstan’s smaller insurers.
