NBU plans hryvnia revaluation on May 22

The National Bank of Ukraine will likely increase the official hryvnia exchange rate against US dollar on May 22, during its Governing and Supervisory Boards joint sitting, the NBU First Vice-Chairman Anatoliy Shapovalov said yesterday. Yesterday, Ukraine’s interbank currency market opened at UAH 4.65-4.73 per dollar and closed at UAH 4.66 (8.3% below the official exchange rate).
