Azovmash's Sales Grow By 6.9% yoy In January-April To USD 199 mln.

Production in the wagon-making segment grew by 7.2% to USD 167.5 mln (by 1.1% in unit terms – to 2608 carriages). In the heavy machinery segment, Azovmash is finishing production of parts for continuous casting of slabs, produced jointly with Danieli (Italy) for Azovstal. Azovmash is a managing company for Mariupol Heavy Machinery (MZVM: BUY) and Azovzahalmash (AZGM: BUY). In 2006 it plans to increase production by 10.8% to USD 627 mln.
