Firtash Companies To Receive Gas from Gazprom Subsidiary

Starting May 1, 2008, Firtash-related companies (like Rivneazot and Krymsoda (KSOD: N/R), will buy gas from Gazpromsbyt, Gazprom’s Ukrainian subsidiary, according to an agreement between Naftogaz of Ukraine and Gazprom reached in Moscow yesterday. The two Firtash related companies said earlier this week that Naftogaz threatened to cut gas supplies to them if they didn’t sign a supply agreement with Gas of Ukraine, Naftogaz’s subsidiary.
