SPF Aims to Raise USD 1 bln from Odesa Portside Privatization

The State Property Fund of Ukraine expects to sell a 99.52% stake in Odesa Portside Plant for UAH 5 bln (USD 0.99 bln), SPF Vice-Chairman Dmitriy Parfenenko said yesterday. According to him, fifteen companies have applied to the SPF to participate. In addition to the companies we mentioned in our previous news, a new applicant is Sibur Group, Russia’s leading petrochemical holding company, majority owned by Gazprom. Parfenenko also that the the date of the privatization auction will be May 6.
