CPI up 9.7% YTD through March

CPI up 9.7% YTD through March

According to the State Statistics Committee, CPI reached 9.7% YTD since the beginning of the year. The 3.8% mom growth in March was driven mainly by food prices (+5.6% mom), while other products did not impact CPI growth substantially. Andrii Parkhomenko:  Inflation is currently the highest since 2000. We are reviewing our forecast for 2008 CPI.
