Tymoshenko, Moroz Tell The President To Pick Up The Pace.

Tymoshenko, Moroz Tell The President To Pick Up The Pace.

7 April 2008

Yesterday President Viktor Yushchenko’s  ‘orange revolution” allies Yulia Tymoshenko (BYT) and Oleksander Moroz (The Socialist Party) sent an open letter to the President asking him to speed up coalition talks in order to avoid instability in the country.  Early Our Ukraine announced that it was going to open talks with BYT and the Socialists on forming a coalition in the Rada. Concorde Capital: All the ‘orange’ activity over the last few days seems to have unsettled the Party of Regions a little bit. Yesterday Regions leader Viktor Yanukovich announced that his party was interested in a ‘universal coalition’ containing the four main parties in the Rada, and downplayed his party’s demands for the PM seat. The Tymoshenko Block seems to have nipped this idea in the bud by announcing that they would not be in any coalition that contained Yanukovich’s party.
