Concorde Capital: The successful marketing policy by Kyivstar and technical and marketing support from Telenor has decreased the difference between UMC and Kyivstar’s subscriber base from 1.12 mn in January 2005, to 0.42 mn in April. Moreover, the two companies have different definitions of “subscribers.? When this factor is accounted for, the difference in subscriber base between the two operators is only about 0.3 mn.
