ZAZ Increases Car Prices By 5.5-20%.

Concorde-Capital: The price increase is the result of the government?s decision to cancel privileges for local automobile produces, including ZAZ, as required by the 2005 state budget. Previously, legislation allowed automotive producers VAT and import tariff privileges until 2008. The Kremenchuk Automotive Assembly Plant and LuAZ were also hit by the cancellation of privileges.
