Megabank To Boost Profits By Nearly 3 Times In 2007

Megabank officials (MEGA: BUY) announced yesterday that they expected the bank to see its profits jump by 2.7 times to USD 6 mln in 2007. The bank also plans to increase its assets by about 2.2 times to USD 495 mln in 2007 and by another 60% in 2008 to USD 792 mln. Megabank is Ukraine’s 46th largest bank in terms of assets. The bank plans attract a total of USD 40 mln from the IFC and EBRD in 2007 to finance further expansion.
