Members of theformer ‘orange’ government spent the week sending signals to the Yulia Tymoshenko block (BYT). Socialist leader Oleksandr Moroz said that he thought the return of the ‘orange’ coalition would be best for the country, however, he said this depends on BYT’s willingness to negotiate. Additionally Our Ukraine leader Yurii Yekhanurov said he would be extremely sad to see the Party of Regions in the next government, and added that he would have no problem with a government led by Tymoshenko if she were to follow the policies of the President. Tymoshenko had a quiet week, the former PM was bedridden most of the week with the flu, after struggling in a television interview when questions about her personal finances were brought up. The party of Regions spent most of the week accusing Our Ukraine of using subliminal messages in one of its campaign ads.
