Government Forecasts 2.8% yoy GDP Growth In 2006.

According to the Economics Minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the government forecasts GDP growth of 2.8% yoy in 2006 (+2.6% yoy in 2005). At the same inflation is expected to reach 10.0-1.5% (optimistic scenario) or 11.4-11.6% (pessimistic scenario). Concorde Capital: Our forecasts for 2006 set GDP at 3% and inflation at 10%.
