Stakhanov Wagon Works Sees Production, Profits Soar In 2006

Stakhanov Wagon Works (SVGZ: BUY) increased production of rail cars by 70% yoy to 2183 cars in 2006. Additionally, the company reported net profits of USD 2.2 mln a more than four-fold increase from 2005. In 2006 the Stakhanov’s sales reached USD 92.6 mln. Last week, Stakhanov Wagon Works announced last week that it had signed a deal with Macedonia’s Skopski Legury Ferroalloy. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
