State Budget General Fund Revenues Exceed Plan by 8% in 2M08

According to the Finance Ministry, in January-February income to the general fund of the state budget totaled USD 5.03 bln (8% more than planned by the ministry), while expenditures were USD 5.00 bln. Finance Minister Viktor Pynzenyk noted that the ministry projected deficit for 2M08. The state budget is comprised of the general fund (78.5% of state budget incomes and 80.3% of its expenditures) for primary expenditures and revenues, and a special fund.
