Kernel Acquires Two Agricultural Companies and Grain Elevator

Kernel Group (KER PW: N/R) announced yesterday the acquisition of two agricultural enterprises with a leased land area of 9.6 ths ha and a grain elevator in Cherkasy region. The volume of the deal was said to be USD 8.8 mln. The company also reported another pending acquisition of a Cherkasy region-based agricultural firm with a leased land area of 1.1 ths ha for USD 0.4 mln. Anna Dudchenko: These deals further the company’s goal, which it announced earlier this month, to lease, manage and farm up to 250 ths ha of land in Ukraine.
