Rada Bans Nikopol Ferroalloy Privatization.

10 February 2008

Yesterday the Verkhovna Rada passed a draft law banning the privatization of Nikopol Ferroalloy (NFER: SELL).  The law passed the 226 vote barrier to be approved by more than 60 votes. Deputies from the Socialist party initiated the draft law. The draft law now has to be signed by the President to become law.  Concorde Capital: Another chapter in the NFER saga, and certainly not the last time we will hear about this company’s possible privatization.
