Komsomolets Donbasa Raises Net Income 1.9x yoy in 2007

Komsomolets Donbasa (SHKD: HOLD) increased its net income in 2007 by 1.9x yoy to USD 14.0 mln, according to Interfax. Eugene Cherviachenko: We forecasted net income of USD 18.1 mln in 2007, which is 1.3 times higher than the reported number. Most likely, the lower than expected bottom line is a result of tax optimization schemes practised by the company (see our note of Nov 2007). We are waiting to receive a full financial report for the company in the next 1-2 months.
