The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has licensed BM Bank, a subsidiary of the Bank of Moscow (Russia), to carry out banking operations in Ukraine. The Bank of Moscow with total assets of USD 5.7 bln (as of Jan 1, 2005) is the fifth-largest Russian bank.
