Ukrgazbank Net Profits Up 87% yoy In 2006

Ukrgazbank (UGZB) announced yesterday that its net profits came to USD 883 mln in 2006, an increase of 87% yoy. The bank’s loan portfolio increased by 80% yoy to USD 428 mln of which retail clients accounted for USD 117 mln, a four-fold increase from 2005, and corporate clients made up USD 311 mln, an increase of nearly 50% yoy. Ukrgazbank is Ukriane’s 17th largest bank in terms of assets.
