GDP Up 7.3% yoy in 2007

According to preliminary data from the State Statistics Committee, Ukraine’s GDP surged 7.3% yoy in 2007. The official nominal GDP has not been announced yet. Also, the Committee revised last year’s GDP growth to 7.3% yoy. The released data is absolutely in line with our forecast of 7.3% for 2007, which remained unchanged during all of 2007. We forecast the GDP to climb 6.8% yoy in 2008.
