Greece's National Bank Interested In Purchasing Kreditprombank?

In a press release yesterday, the National Bank of Greece (NBG) said that it had signed a non-bidding confidentiality agreement with two banks and was examining the possibility of purchasing both this spring. According to unconfirmed media reports one of the two banks is Kreditpombank. Other names that have come up include Bank Forum (FORM: BUY) and Tas-Investbank.
