Ukrainian Coal Mining Output Up 2.8% yoy In 2006

Ukrainian coal mines increased extraction by 2.8%  or by 2.2 mln mt to 80.3 mln mt in 2006. The traded mines Krasno-Zakhidna (SHCHZ: BUY), up 8.2% yoy to 6.8 mln mt, and Komsomolets Donbasa (SHKD: BUY), up 20.2% yoy to 3.1 mln mt,  both increased production in line with our growth projections of 9% yoy and 15% yoy for 2006 respectively.
