Alchevsk Steel reports USD 68 mln net loss in 9M12

Alchevsk Iron & Steel (ALMK UK) decreased revenue 28% yoy to USD 1.3 bln in 9M12, according to financials reported yesterday. EBITDA fell 20x yoy to USD 6.9 mln, and the bottom line turned to negative USD 68 mln vs. net profit of USD 73 mln a year ago. Both EBITDA and the bottom line were negative during 3Q12 (USD -16 mln and USD -51 mln, respectively) compared to positive numbers in 2Q12 (USD 33 mln and USD 22 mln, respectively).
